Anxiety, Addiction and Relationship Therapist in Los Angeles, CA

  • Understand why disconnection with your partner has developed, rather than assuming something is wrong with you or your relationship, so that disconnection starts to feel understandable and workable, not hopeless

  • Build comfort with emotional closeness at a pace that feels safe so that intimacy feels less threatening and more possible.

  • Rebuild trust while honoring your boundaries and self-respect so that forgiveness becomes a choice rooted in self-trust, not self-abandonment

If you want to…

  • Untangle fear, attachment, and intuition so that clarity replaces constant second-guessing.

  • Explore where your caretaking tendencies comfrom, and what caretaking provides for you emotionally so that relationships feel more balanced and less draining.

  • Build healthier emotional and relational boundaries so that you feel more grounded, less exhausted, and more like yourself.

If you are struggling in your relationship and want to…

And finally…

  • Understand what substances are helping you manage emotionally so that you feel more comfortable being yourself, with or without substances.

  • Explore your relationship with alcohol without labels or pressure so that uncertainty turns into awareness and agency.

Who I am as a therapist

A person’s hand with red nail polish is partially submerged in water, reaching upward towards the sky with clouds and trees in the background. Exploring what is beneath the surface.

I help you understand the why behind your patterns—emotionally, relationally, and historically—so change isn’t just coping, but meaningful and lasting.

I work at depth, not just on the surface

Unlike other therapists, I don’t just give you tools to alleviate your symptoms. I work holistically. Our work blends self-understanding with practical strategies, so you can feel steadier day to day while also creating deeper, long-term shifts. We explore the origins of your symptoms and create systemic change by working from the source.

I believe insight and tools work best together

You don’t need to be “put together” here. Therapy with me is a place to slow down, be honest, and feel accepted—without judgment or pressure to have it all figured out.

I create a space where you don’t have to perform

I want you to feel our work working. While I value long-term deep work, I also use solution-focused strategies so you feel the effects of therapy quickly.

I help you create solutions

And as a person…

I’m a mother, former actor, and lifelong student of human depth and the narrative around our lives. My career as a film and TV actor taught me how to step inside another’s experience with empathy and curiosity—listening for what lives beneath the surface. My past life as an artist equips me to work with anyone dealing with the real struggles of working in Hollywood, or any other creative field. I know what it is like to feel torn between your true self and what sells. It is a hard time to work in Hollywood. The industry once admired and beloved by so many is having an identity crisis. I can help you navigate your way.

I come from a biracial family, so questions of identity, belonging, and how the world shapes us have always felt deeply personal—especially now as a parent. I wrote my graduate thesis on biracial identity in children and remain profoundly curious about the ways race, culture, and lived experience shape the psyche and our sense of self.

Originally from Texas, I’m grounded by simple joys: Tex-Mex food, long walks near the ocean or in nature, and cuddles with my mini dachshund, Dolly Pawton. I’m drawn to the quiet spaces where stories unfold slowly, believing that when we’re met with care and patience, even the deepest waters can be navigated.
